Absolutely great job, Dave!!! Every kid should be taught to do that and not just sart fire, but take responsibility for every action that helps himself and others around him.
Would be grat if You’d make more reviews on firepit types, I mean thos T-shaped pits and other kind of fire stacking types. Also firebed would be great.
Big thanks for all these vids. Keep them coming.

I am doing the same thing as Dave with my five year old daughter. She made her first sustainable fire by herself about a month ago….I am a very proud dad. This is what Dave is all about the pathfinder way. If we teach our children to be sufficient the world will be full of more leaders than followers.

I wish you was my uncle Dave … And I’m 45 years old! The greatest thing you can do in life is teach and nurture children! Don’t miss the BOAT, it looks like you have a great repore with kids. You should try making vidios for children, help teach them the safe and proper way to explore.

this is a nessesary thing to teach kids. alot of people just expect to always be in a situation where it wont be needed then when it accualy happens that is when they wish they would have payed attention to how to start a fire or be self sufficient. your just awsome dave! keep up the great work.
